Rev. Leroy Connor

Departed this life August 24, 2017. Elder Leroy Connor, age 79, of Richmond. He is preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Joyner; and two sons, Leon and Earl Connor. He was the retired pastor of the Temple of God. He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted and loving wife, Nannie B. Connor; three daughters, Anita Connor(Bill), Gina Connor, and Chandra Gaines(Andrew); three sons, Ricky Connor(Delcey), Milton Connor(Gale), Major Harris, and Frankie and Johnny Joyner; 28 grandchildren; several great grandchildren among them a devoted, Lord Tyrik; one sister, Sandra Gibbs; one brother, Joseph Connor; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two brothers- in-law, Essom Foreman(Judy) and Melvin Sutton(Avis) and other relatives and friends, among them a loving and devoted church family. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral service will be held Wednesday at 12 noon. Pastor Samuel Winston off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 11:45AM Wednesday.
