Departed this life March 11, 2011. Benjamin F. Hatcher Sr. of Richmond. He is survived by one daughter, Sherry Beverly; one son, Benjamin F. Hatcher Jr.; two grandchildren, Tiffany and Lavenia Beverly; two sisters, Annie Tyree and Joyce Grantham; one step sister Jean Mallory; three aunts; one uncle; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Corliss Hatcher; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Thursday 1PM at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 1902 Rosewood Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. William B. Wiggins II(pastor) off. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Thursday.
