Rice, Departed this life September 25, 2007. Richard P. Rice of Richmond. Retired from Federal Reserve Bank He is survived by his wife Ida D. Rice; 1 son Anthony Rice; 3 grandchildren Clayton, Ashton and Tyrel; 2 brothers Bennie and Edward Rice; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; 1 daughter in law Tammy Rice; 2 sisters in law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM. Funeral services will be held Friday 1P.M. at Cedar Street Memorial Baptist Church located at 2301 Cedar Street where remains will lie in state 1 hour prior funeral time. Dr. Benjamin W. Robertson (pastor emeritus) off. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45P.M. Friday.
