Louise Benbow Prosser

Departed this life September 29, 2007. Mrs Louise Benbow Prosser formerly of Yancey Street. She is preceded in death by her husband Elmore Prosser and 1 grandson Jude E. Lee Jr.; and 3 sisters Eliza Spain, Meta Brunson and Dora Durant. She is survived by 2 daughters Mary B. J. Lewis and Sondra B. Lee; 3 sons Leroy, Julian and a devoted Linwood Benbow; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 1 sister Sallie Rhames; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; 1 daughter in law Annie Benbow; 1 sister in law Betty Shipman; 2 brothers in law Adolphus Prosser and Robert Prosser and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30P.M. on wednesday. Funeral services will be held thursday 1P.M. at Kindom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 4305 Eighth Street@ Masonic Lane where remains will lie in state 1 hour prior funeral time. Brother Bernard Carter and Billy Stokes off. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the Kingdom Hall 12:45P.M. thursday.
