Johnson, Departed this life September 30, 2007. Mrs. Elsie M. Johnson of Richmond. She is survived by her husband, James E. Johnson; 1 daughter, Theresa Johnson; 4 sons, James Jr., Gregory, Bobby and Lorenzo Johnson; 14 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Rosetta Bailey; 1 brother, Walter Henry Hayes Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; 3 daughter- in-law, Renee, Carol and Sharon Johnson; 1 sister-in-law, Bessie Davis; 3 brothers-in-law, Theodore Johnson, George Bailey and James Davis and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 4:30 to 5:30P.M. on thursday. Funeral services will be held Friday 11 A.M. at Fifth Baptist Church 1415 W. Cary Street where the remains will lie in state 1 hour prior funeral time. Dr. Earl M. Brown & Dr. Ricardo Brown(pastor) Rev. Bobby Johnson off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45P.M. Friday.
