Lewis, Departed this life October 28, 2007. Michael M.(Big Mike) Lewis of Richmond. He is preceded in death by a daughter Deniqua M. Lewis and a brother Charles Lewis. He is survived by his wife Bessie Lewis; two children Michael L. and Domineeka D. Lewis; a nephew Bles’son Smyre; one granddaughter Ta’Quoria Carney; eight sisters Shelia Lewis, Marcia Rainey, Robinette Morgan, Cassandra Coker, Charlene Hopkins, Brenda Stokes, Charlene King and Vanessa Finey; two brother Byron and Don Lewis; two aunts Lula Langley and Celeste Mullins of New York; three uncles John Langley, and John and Everett Scott; a host of nieces and nephews among them devoted Denisha McCreary and LeRoy Lewis; and cousins; four sisters in law; nine brothers in law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday 1P.M. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church located at 1902 Rosewood Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior funeral time. Rev. Micah A. Jackson off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45P.M. Saturday.
