Mines, Departed this life November 21, 2007. Mrs. Denise D. Mines of Richmond. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Brittany Joy Mines. She is survived by two sons, Brandon and Steadman Mines; one granddaughter, A’mya Mines; her father and mother, Clarence and Shirley Harrison; grandmother, Bessie Peaks; one sister, Patricia Hawley; two brothers, Edward and Clyde Harrison; two aunts, Bubbletine Russell and Alice Taylor; one uncle, Thomas Russell; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one sister-in-law, Paulette Harrison; and other relatives and friends among them a devoted Aaron Mines Jr. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Monday 11AM at Fifth Baptist Church located at 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Earl M. Brown(pastor) off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45A.M. Monday.
