Departed this life April 12, 2016. Mrs. Annie Roots, age 86, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband James Roots. She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews among them Fern Stamps, Sandra Dabney, Thelma Underdue, Sheree Lee, Charles Scott and Louis Scott; and other relatives and friends among them a devoted Brinette Jones. The family will receive friends at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue Saturday from 11:30am to 12:30pm.
