General, Departed this life July 8, 2009. Mrs. Virginia Lee General of Richmond. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence S. General. She is survived by one daughter, Valerie Johnson; two sons, Willie Pender and Mario Battle; eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Terry Battle; one sister-in-law, Florence Pender of Pinetop, North Carolina; one brother-in-law, Donald Coleman; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1PM. ___________________________ off. Intenment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the at the funeral home at 12:45PM Tuesday.
