Albert Randolph Brown, fondly known as Randy, passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on September 3, 1949, in Midlothian, Virginia, Randy filled his years with laughter, music, and a love for nature that resonated deeply with all who knew him.
Randy dedicated a significant portion of his life to the transportation industry, where he worked as a driver for an oil company. His commitment to his work was evident, but it was his vibrant personality that truly left a lasting impression. Often described as the life of the party, Randy had a unique ability to lift spirits and spread joy wherever he went. His humor and upbeat demeanor made him a beloved figure among friends and family alike.
Outside of work, Randy found joy in various hobbies and interests. An avid lover of the outdoors, he cherished moments spent in nature and had a deep appreciation for the beauty surrounding him. Music held a special place in his heart; he was proud to be the lead singer of the music group, The Modells, sharing not only his talents but also his passion for music with those around him.
Randy's legacy lives on through his loving daughter Katrina Brown and son Keith Isham. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, and one sister, Phyllis Woods, along with one brother, Clyde Brown. He is remembered fondly by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a wide circle of relatives and friends who carry forward the joy and laughter he instilled in their lives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sarah and Claude Brown, as well as three brothers, Calvin, Spencer Lee, and Roger Lewis Brown.
As we celebrate the life of Albert Randolph Brown, we mourn the loss of a man who not only embraced life but inspired those around him to do the same. His presence will be profoundly missed, but the memories and joys he shared will endure in the hearts of those who loved him.
