Annie Pearl Bannister

Departed this life February 7th, 2023. Mrs. Annie Pearl Bannister, age 85, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by one son, Willie Lee Bannister Jr. She is survived by her husband, Willie Lee Bannister Sr.; one daughter, Clara Monica Bannister PhD., one son, Carl Lee Bannister; three  grandchildren, Nikia Reynolds, Brianna Bannister and Brandon Seldon; two great grandchildren;  three sisters, Lois Hawthorne, Nancy Monroe(Jack) and Loretta Tisdale; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; three sisters- in- law, Otelia Boswell, Bessie Coleman and Geraldine Bannister; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mrs Bannister can be viewed Friday from 10AM to 8PM and where funeral services will be held Saturday 11AM at the Church of God in Richmond, 300 W. Roanoke Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Apostle Michael W. Bennett(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Saturday.
