Arletha Nicole Kincaid

Arletha N. Kincaid (Jefferson) was born in September 1985 in Richmond to James and Orpah Jefferson. Being the daughter of a father who was a trucker and a mother who was a nurse, she took qualities from both of her parents in that she loved to travel and always put others before herself. After graduating from Commonwealth Christian School, she went on to graduate from UVA with a bachelor's in Nursing and VCU with a master’s in Nursing. She would practice as a RN and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Virginia and various parts of the U.S. for over a decade.

Arletha was blessed to have a large and loving family. A natural comedian, she loved a good laugh and was always planning ahead for the next trip, event, or get-together for her loved ones and family to share more memorable moments with. In her transition on May 12, 2024, she is predeceased by her parents, Orpah and James Jefferson; survived by her husband, Donald Kincaid; siblings James Jr, Bobby, Emmanuel, Denzel, Joshua, Angie, Patricia, Jamie, Tiara, and Brandie; Goddaughters, Christine and Coreyona, Godsister Kendra, and Godmother Michelle; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends she left a lasting mark on.
