Departed this life February 28th, 2022. Arthur Jefferson Carter, age 78, of Richmond. He is survived by one daughter, Sonja Waddy; three grandchildren, Joshua, Lejontu, and  Secorra Waddy; four sisters, Viola Carter, Carolyn Doyle(Albert), Sylvia Lee(Warren), and Karen Carter;   five brothers,William L., Richard E.(Wilberta), Theodore C., Samuel L. and Garry Carter(Safia); a host of nieces, nephews among them devoted Folake Omotola and cousins; sisters- in- law, Margaret, Patricia and Cynthia Carter; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends Friday, March 11 from 6:30PM to 7:30PM and where funeral services will be held Saturday, March 12 at 1PM. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Masks are required. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Saturday.
