Barbara Delores Hill

Mrs. Barbara Delores Hill, age 88, of Richmond, departed this life on September 27, 2026. She is preceded in death by one son, Michael Sharp.

She is survived by three daughters, Berlette Lacks (Oscar "Mike"), Darlene Tyler and Donna Tyler; one son, Ivan Tyler (Mae); nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one great great grandson; one niece, one nephew; a host of cousins; other relatives and friends.

Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Mrs. Hill can be viewed on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 10:00am to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held 12noon, Friday October 9, 2026, at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street, where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Earl Brown and Dr. Ricardo Brown, Pastors. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 11:45am on Friday.
