WATCH FUNERAL HERE Departed this life September 28th, 2022. Bernard Artist, age 76, of Richmond. He was a member of Charity Lodge #25 and Mocha Temple #7(both Prince Hall Affiliated). He is survived by his wife, Earlene Artist; three daughters, Tanya Artist-Hanley(Elroy); Demetria Ponton(Allee); Bernadette Artist; one son, Glenn Artist; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn Laws; one brother, Clarence Artist Jr.(Mae); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; sister-in-law, Claudia Crandle and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends 6:30PM Wednesday October 12 along with the Burial Tribute by Mocha Temple #7 and where funeral services will be held Thursday October 13th at 11AM. Interment Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia.
