Betty Taylor-Brown

Mrs. Betty Taylor-Brown, age 76, of Richmond, departed this life on May 20, 2026. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Brown and one son, John H. Lomax Jr. She is survived by two daughters, Sharonda L. Warlington and Tarita J. Taylor; five grandchildren, Jay & Shaquan Lomax, Eboni L. Harper, Princess Warlington and Robert “Tatoe” Taylor; five great grandchildren, Bri’Anna & Kayla Harper and Jayla, Nina & Faith Lomax; two sisters, Dorothy Vaughan and Loretta Barksdale (Alexander); three brothers, Wilbur Penick Sr., Robert Foster Jr. and Dion Redwood; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Sandra Lomax; other relatives and friends.

Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Mrs. Taylor-Brown can be viewed on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 10:00am to 8:00pm, and where funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 3:00pm. Interment, private. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 2:45pm on Thursday.
