Betty Edmonds Williams

Mrs. Betty E. Williams, age 67, of Richmond, departed this life on August 17, 2026. She is survived by her husband, Andrew Williams; three sisters, Carolyn Williams, Trudy Coleman and Bridget Edmonds; five brothers, Melvin, Charles (Jane), Earnest (Virginia), Dennis and Eric Edmonds; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; other relatives and friends.

Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Mrs. Williams can be viewed on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 10:00am to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 11:00am, at Sixth Baptist Church, 400 S. Addison Street, where remains will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral time. Dr. Yvonne Bibbs, Pastor, officiating. Interment, Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:45am on Saturday.
