Departed this life August 30, 2025. Brian W. Dyer, age 63, of Richmond. He is survived by his son, Christian A. Dyer; his mother, Wilnette Dyer; one aunt, Kathy Dyer Banks; one uncle, Harry Nevels; one niece, Renee Dyer, one nephew, Nikos Dyer; his life partner Taryn Blount, bonus son, Corey Blount; a host of cousins, among them, Harry Van-Nevels, III, Marshal D. Banks, II, Martainn D. Banks, Matthieu D. Banks and Lisa Washington; other relatives and friends. 

Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where the family will receive friends on Monday, September 15th, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, September 16th, at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street, where remains will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral time. Dr. Earl Brown and Dr. Ricardo Brown, Pastors. Internment, Riverview Cemetery.

Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:45am on Tuesday September 16th.
