Burlette Madglia Trent

Mrs. Burlette Cook Trent, age 93, of Richmond, departed this life on October 9, 2025. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Trent; two sons, Kevin Trent and Karl Trent. She is survived by one son, Kenneth Trent (Demetria); four grandchildren, Kameron, Travis, Marquise and Tashawn Spurlock; a host of great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; daughter-in-law, Faye Trent; one sister-in-law, Jeanette Trent; other relatives and friends, among them a beloved friend, Mary Becoat. 

Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Mrs. Trent can be viewed on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 10:00am to 8:00pm, and where funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 11:00am. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 10:45am on Saturday.
