Caren Janine Woody

Mrs. Caren J. Woody, age 72, formerly of Richmond, departed this life on August 7, 2026. She is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Woody. She is survived by two sons, Bryant Sims (April) and Darrick Sims (Andrea); four grandchildren; one sister, Carol Ann Turner; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one sister-in-law, Gayle Sims; other relatives and friends. 

Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Mrs. Woody can be viewed Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 10:00am to 8:00pm, and where funeral services will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 1:30pm. Interment, Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 1:15pm on Friday.
