Carrie was the beloved wife of the late Roland Skinner, and the cherished daughter of Lizzie Morton and John T. French, who preceded her in death. Though she now joins them in eternal rest, her spirit remains vibrant in the hearts of her surviving family, including her nieces, nephews cousins, and other close relatives.

A proud graduate of Goochland Schools, Carrie dedicated herself to a life of service as a house nurse. Her gentle touch, attentive care, and steadfast devotion to her patients reflected her innately giving and loving nature. Carrie was always willing to reach out and help those in need, making a lasting impact on countless lives with her kindness and selflessness.

Deeply rooted in her faith, Carrie was a lady of strong spiritual conviction. She was honored to serve as a deaconess at First Union Baptist Church, where her devotion, wisdom, and leadership uplifted her church community.
