Departed this life December 3rd, 2021. Mrs. Cora Tyree-Avent, age 90, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Milton Avent; one daughter, Cynthya Tyree-Smith; two sons, William Tyree Sr. & Howard Tyree Sr and one grandson, Carlton Smith Jr. She is survived by one daughter, Karen Brockenbrough(James Sr.); two sons, Rev. Wilfred Tyree Jr.(Robin) and Kevin Tyree(Barbara); sixteen grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; three sisters-in-law,  Annie Pollard and Linda and Delores Fuller; one brother in law Melvin Fuller and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11AM. Dr. Michael Moore off. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:45AM Thursday.
