Daniel O. Snead

Departed this life September 20th, 2023. Daniel Obadiah Snead, age 80, of Chesterfield. He is preceded in death by one son, Dean Hughes. He is survived by his devoted, wife Shirley Ann Snead; three daughters; three sons; a host of grand and great grandchildren; one sister, Dora Thomas; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one sister- in- law; and other relatives and friends among them a devoted caregiver, Talesha Tweety. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mr. Snead can be viewed Thursday from 10AM to 8PM. Funeral services will be held Friday, 11AM at St. Paul’s Baptist Church, 4247 E. Creighton Road where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Lance Watson Sr.(pastor). Interment Virginia Veteran’s Cemetery at Amelia. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Friday.
