David Wyatt Johnson

David Wyatt Johnson, age 86, of Richmond, departed this life on May 26, 2026. He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Johnson. He is survived by two sons, David Wyatt Johnson Jr. and Wayne Johnson; two grandsons, Wyatt and Caleb Johnson; one brother, Robert Johnson (Arleen); one niece, Kira Patterson (Lemuel); one nephew, Kyle Johnson; great niece, Zara Patterson; great nephew, Donovan Patterson; a host of cousins; one brother-in-law, Charles Johnson; other relatives and friends. 

Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Mr. Johnson can be viewed on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 10:00am to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, 11:00am, at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street, where remains will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral time. Dr. Earl Brown and Dr. Ricardo Brown, Pastors. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:45am on Friday.
