Departed this life June 2nd, 2023. David Francis Nelson, age 37, of Richmond. He is preceded in death by his mother, Rise Nelson. He is survived by his father, Francis Nelson Jr.; maternal grandmother, Anna Lewis; two brothers, Marcus(Megan) and Malcolm(Chanel) Nelson; two aunts; one uncle; one niece, one nephew; a host of cousins; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mr. Nelson can be viewed Friday from 10AM to 8PM. The family will receive friends Saturday 10AM at New Light Baptist Church, 2000 East Broad Street followed by the funeral at 11AM. Rev. Cory Bland(pastor). Rev. Bruce Jones eulogy. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
