Derander Holton

Departed this life December 23rd, 2021. Derander “Cowboy” Holton, age 67, formerly of Ayden, North Carolina. He is preceded in death by his father, and mother Samuel and Jessie Bea Holton. He is survived by his wife, Linda Holton; a daughter, Renee Holton; three sisters, Edna Bailey, Gwendolyn “Joyce” Fields(William) and Zantra Best(Mitch); one brother, Samuel Holton(Carolyn); a host of nephews and cousins; two sisters- in- law; two brothers- in- law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, Richmond, Virginia 23220. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday at Zion Free Will Baptist Church, 377 Planters Street, Ayden, North Carolina where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Interment Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia.
