Doris Thompson Friend

Departed this life April 25th, 2021. Mrs. Doris T. Friend, age 94, of Chesterfield. She is preceded in death by her husband ,  Thomas H. Friend and one daughter ,CaSandra Friend Coleman. She is survived by two daughters, Lauranette Thomasine Friend Napier and Robbin Yvette Friend; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mrs. Friend can be viewed Monday from 10 AM to 8 PM. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 1PM at First Baptist Church Centralia, 2920 Kingsdale Road where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Wilson E.B. Shannon(pastor) officiating. Interment Sunset Memorial Park. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Tuesday. The governor’s guidance on social distancing will be adhered to.
