Doris Matthews

Departed this life September 22nd, 2023. Mrs. Doris Matthews, age 82, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Claude J. Matthews Jr. a granddaughter & a grandson, Paige Johnson and Miles Johnson-Matthews. She is survived by two sons Claude J. Matthews III(Terri) and Duane Matthews(Srey); a host of grand and great grandchildren; one sister, Mildred ,Barksdale(Walter); a host nieces, nephews and cousins; three sisters- in- law; and other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Wednesday 1PM at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Dr. Ricardo Brown off. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Wednesday.
