Dorothy Constance Gillespie

Departed this life September 21st, 2022.  Mrs.  Dorothy “Dottie” Gillespie.  She is survived by her husband, Robert Gillespie;  three children, Johnathan Poteat, Leon Evans III, and Donte’ Poteat;  eleven grandchildren;  three step children;  three sisters, Carla Murchison(Antonio), Paula Singletary(Frank Harvey) and Vicki Poteat;  a host of nieces, nephews and cousins;  sisters and brothers- in- law and other relatives and friends among them many adopted children.  Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr  Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1PM.  Rev.  Clevan Gillespie off..  Interment private.  Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Tuesday.
