Dr. George W. Thomas

Departed this life April 28th, 2022. Dr. George W. Thomas, age 75, of Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Beverly R. Thomas; one daughter, Dr. Joylene W. Thomas; two sons,  Derek W. Thomas(La Toya) and Anthony W. Thomas(Anna); three grandchildren, Tavaris Smith, Isabella Thomas and Isaiah Thomas; one sister, Yvonne Burrell(William); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; brothers- in- law, Otis Robinson Jr. and Keith Robinson, sisters- in- law, Damita Robinson and Betsy Robinson and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends Friday from 6:30 to 7:30PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday 12:30PM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Earl Brown(pastor) off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:15PM. Saturday. Proof of vaccination required for funeral services at church on Saturday.
