Dr. Leon Edward Andrews

Departed this life July 16th, 2024. Dr. Leon Andrews, age 82, of Richmond. He was a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Beta Gamma Lambda Chapter. He was also a member of Capital Lodge # 107(Prince Hall affiliated). Dr. Andrews was a psychologist who retired from Central State Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Ethel Andrews; his daughter, Camille Andrews; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one brother-in-law, Samuel Miller Jr.(Annie) and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, August 2nd from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Memorial services will also be held at the funeral home on Saturday, August 3rd at 1 PM. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45 PM.
