Dwayne Lamont Gail

Dwayne Lamont Gail, a beloved father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on July 21, 2025, in Wilmington, Delaware, at the age of 50. Born on October 21, 1974, Dwayne navigated life with humor, kindness, and a warmth that left a positive impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Dwayne was a proud graduate of George Wythe High School in Richmond, Virginia. He furthered his education by earning an associate's degree in Information Technology from ECPI. For many years, he dedicated his professional journey to his role as an IT analyst for Kimberly-Clark, where he was admired for his expertise and commitment.

Beyond his career, Dwayne was known for his engaging personality. He consistently made friends with everyone he met and was a follower of Christ, sharing love and positivity wherever he went. His hobbies included video gaming, a passion that connected him with fellow enthusiasts and allowed him to enjoy moments of joy and escapism.

Dwayne's family and friends will remember him not only for his accomplishments—most notably, recently obtaining his cybersecurity verification—but also for the love he shared and the laughter he brought into their lives. He is survived by his son, Dwayne Jr., and daughter, Gabrielle Gail; his mother, Harriet Parker; his father, Donnell Gail; sister, Danielle Gail; brother, Davon Gail; as well as five aunts, three uncles, several nieces, a nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends, among them his close friend, James Younger.

A funeral service to honor Dwayne's life will be held on July 30, 2025, at Noon at Joseph Jenkins Jr Funeral Home in Richmond, Virginia. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate the impact he had on so many lives.
