Edith Collins Blye

Departed this life on February 7, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Albert Blye. She is survived by 1 loving daughter, Marsha Blye; three sons, James, Derrick, and Sheldon Blye; one grandson, Akhenaton L. Blye; two sisters, Catherine DeWitt and Wilhelmenia Johnson(Marcus II) several nieces, nephews cousins, and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Saturday, February 15 at Hood Temple AME Zion Church, 16 W. Clay Street. Remains will lie in state one hour before the funeral time. Family and friends assemble at the church at 12:45 PM on Saturday.
