Departed this life July 21st, 2021. Mrs Emma Carter, age 86, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by two sons, Larry Carter and Benny Carter. She is survived by three daughters, Mamie Carter, Vanessa Carter and Katherine C. Clark(Samuel); five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Phillips and Mamie Talley; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter- in law- Alice Carter; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mrs. Carter can be viewed Tuesday from 10AM to 8PM and where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 AM. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:15AM Wednesday.
