Ms. Ernestine Marie Lewis, age 85, of Richmond, departed this life on October 1, 2026. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Garland and Lucy Lewis, and one brother, Garland Lewis Jr. She is survived by three devoted cousins, Sharon Crawford (Verloyne), Nettie Stokes (Melvin) and Daisy McCombs; other relatives and friends.
Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Ms. Lewis can be viewed on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 10:00am to 8:00pm, and where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 1:00pm. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 12:45pm on Tuesday.
