Ethel Bailey Battle

Departed this life April 3, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl R. Battle. She is survived by two sons, Kevin C. Battle(Dawn) and Michael R. Battle; three grandchildren Christopher and Alexa Battle and Tiffany Bower; stepdaughter, Margo Greene; a host of nieces and nephews; several sisters and brothers-in-law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 PM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state 1 hour prior funeral time. Pastor Earl M. Brown officiating. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
