Mrs. Evelyn Bennett

Mrs. Evelyn Bennett, age 98, of Richmond, departed this life on May 29, 2025. She is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Bennett, and one son, Larry Bennett. 

She is survived by three daughters, Paula Ellis(Sherrod), Sheila Evans(Wayne) and Beverly Revis(Melvin); fifteen grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; one sister, Lucy Mae Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; daughter-in-law, Joyce Bennett; one sister-in-law, Brenda Bennett; three brothers-in-law, Hubert Lee Bennett, Charles Bennett and Alphonso Bennett; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Mrs. Bennett can be viewed on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, from 10:00am to 8:00pm, and where funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 1:00pm. Rev. Victor Bennett officiating. Interment, Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 12:45pm on Thursday.
