Fareeda Hameed Muhammad

Fareeda Hameed Muhammad of Richmond (formerly of Murfreesboro, N.C), departed this life on October 7, 2024. She is preceded in death by her husband, Basim A. Muhammad, and is survived by her four children, Lawrence V. Smith, Jr., Tundra L. Smith-Henley, Sharon Lee and Michael C. Smith; nine grandchildren (one deceased), 18 great-grandchildren, one sister, Magdalene Davis; and a host of relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, where the Janazah will be held on Thursday, Oct. 10th at 10:30am. Interment Al-Barzakh Islamic Cemetery.
