Gordon Smith

Departed this life September 4th, 2022. Gordon Smith, age 71, of Richmond. He is survived by one daughter, Chimere Smith Gregory(Dwayne); one son, Darryl Smith; five grandchildren, Daijah Hunt, Dyamon Hunt, Elijah Smith, Saniya Smith and Dwayne Gregory Jr.; two great grandchildren, Aryn and Averi Atkins; one sister, Alice Smith-Eldridge; two brothers, James Smith and Charles Smith(Deborah); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; sisters -in- law- Annie Smith, Erica Hepburn and Carolyn Smith;  and other relatives and friends among them Sheila Smith, Donald Eldridge and Danielle Lewis. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 3PM to 4PM Sunday. Funeral services will be held Monday 11am at Trinity Baptist Church, 2811 Fendall Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. A. Lincoln James(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Monday.
