Departed this life August 16th, 2023. Hakeem H. Hewlett, age 48, of Hampton. He is preceded in death by his mother, Iris Hewlett. He is survived by his father, Wesley T. Hewlett III; his brother, Wesley T. Hewlett IV; his stepsister, Alyce Wheeler; three children, Davia Wilkinson, and Angelina & Dominic Hewlett; devoted aunts, Yoshida Bartley and Saundra Thomas; devoted uncles, Apostle Roderick Hewlett, Elwood Thomas and Terry Bartley; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Saturday 10:30AM at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Rev. Dr. Frederick Faison off. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:15AM Saturday.
