Hazel Alford

Departed this life March 27th, 2023. Mrs. Hazel Alford, age 85, of Richmond. She was a retired Richmond Public Schools educator. She is survived by one daughter, Bridgett Alford; two grandchildren, Julian and Ryan Williams; one sister, Phyllis Chambers; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends Monday from 6:30PM to 7:30PM. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 1PM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street. Rev. Earl Brown(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Tuesday.
