Howard Coleman Manley

Howard Coleman Manley, age 76, of Richmond, departed this life on November 12, 2025. He is preceded in death by one daughter, Atiyaa Manley, his mother and father Lillian and Roosevelt Manley Sr., one sister, Joyce Byrd and one brother, Roosevelt Manley Jr. 

He is survived by one daughter, Zandria Manley; one son, Askia Manley (Latoya); eleven grandchildren; one great granddaughter; two brothers, Ray Muhammad and Larry Manley (Wilhemina); one aunt, Bessie Coleman; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; other relatives and friends among them, Melanie Alston. 

Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where the family will receive friends on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 11:00am to 6:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025, 12 noon at Hood Temple AME Zion Church, 16 W. Clay Street, where remains will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral time. Rev. Joshua D. Holmes, Pastor. Interment, Roselawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 11:45am on Monday.
