Irving Lee Haggins

Irving L. Haggins, age 90, of Richmond, departed this life on October 16, 2025.He is preceded in death by the love of his life, Joyce Haggins. He is survived by three children, Andrea Arreguin(Candido) of Lilburn, Georgia, Marcus Haggins(Ashlie) of Chesterfield, Virginia and Desiree Jones(Steve) of Champaign, Illinois; a devoted brother, Barksdale Haggins(Joyce); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; a sister-in-law, Mildred Haggins(Charles) of Detroit, Michigan; other relatives and friends, among them, his loyal and loving companion, Aretha Branch.

Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where the family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, 11:00am, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 216 W. Leigh Street, where remains will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral time. Rev. Kevin L. Jones, Pastor. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church on Thursday at10:45am.
