Departed this life September 7th, 2023. James William Caldwell, age 89, of Richmond. He is preceded in death by one daughter, Antoinette Caldwell. He is survived by five daughters, Jameen Smith(Anthony), Michelle Caldwell, Tracy Caldwell-Gore, Erika Caldwell, and Jennifer Caldwell; a devoted nephew, Alfred “Snag” Holmes Jr.(Elsie); eleven grandchildren; a host of great and great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, cousins; and other relatives and friends among them Nan W. Caldwell. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mr. Caldwell can be viewed Wednesday from 10AM to 8PM and where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11AM. Rev. Gina Whitaker-Cannon eulogy. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:45AM Thursday.
