James Edward “Jimmy” Davis Jr., age 74, of Richmond, departed this life on September 3, 2025. He is preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Davis, and his father, James Edward Davis Sr. He is survived by a host of cousins, among them, Linwood Davis, Rudy Davis and Larry & Wilhemina Manley; other relatives and friends among them, his God-sister, Michelle Taylor and Heaman McQueen.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, 11:00am, at Riverview Baptist Church, 2604 Idlewood Avenue. Rev. Frank Branch III, Pastor. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church on Wednesday at 10:45am.
