Departed this life June 28th, 2024. James Westley Garrett, age 76, of Richmond. He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Taylor and one son, Christopher Rankin. He is survived by two children, Tovar Hamilton and Aaron Johnson Sr.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; five sisters, Sally Hurdle, Geraldine Ribbon, Wilnet Goode(Bennie), Patricia Long and Kelly Garrett; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mr. Garrett can be viewed (day/time) and where funeral services will be held Thursday July 11 at 1PM. Interment private.
