Departed this life April 3, 2021. James "Pete" Alston of Richmond. He is survived by one son, Bryant Alston; two grandchildren; two sisters, Sharon Alston Tuppince and Jeannie Alston Winston; several nieces, nephews and cousins and other relatives and friends among them Joann Williams. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave where Mr. Alston can be viewed Sunday and where his services will be held 10:30AM Monday. Interment Amelia Veterans Cemetery.
