James Wayne Thomas

James Wayne Thomas of Mechanicsville. Departed this life October 25, 2021. He is survived by his wife, Rev. Marian H. Thomas; three daughters, Jamia Crockett of Orange, VA, Maria Thomas of Herndon, VA and Waynitra Hall(Cody) of Aston, PA; seven grandchildren; one brother, Leonard Thomas Jr.; several nieces, nephews and cousins and other relatives and friends among them faithful friend Myron Dunston. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave. where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM Monday. Funeral services will be held 11AM Tuesday at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where Mr. Thomas will lie in state 1-hour prior funeral. Dr. Earl M. Brown(pastor) officiating. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Tuesday.
