James Alfred Turner

Departed this life June 4th, 2023. James Alfred Turner Jr., age 88, of Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Geneva Turner; two daughters, Felicia Turner and Yolanda Bullock(Ray); two sons, Aaron Turner and Daron Turner; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews among them Faith Palmer and Douglas Johnson and cousins; five sisters- in- law; five brothers- in- law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mr. Turner can be viewed Saturday and Sunday from 10AM to 6PM. Funeral services will be held Monday 11AM at Sixth Baptist Church, 400 South Addison Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Yvonne Bibbs(pastor) off. Interment Mt Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:45AM Monday.
