James Woodson Sr.

Departed this life June 5th, 2022. James Woodson Sr., age 90, of Richmond. He is preceded in death by his wife, Irene Woodson and one daughte,r Debera Boneparte. He is survived by one daughter, Bridgett Hopson(Antonio); one son, James Woodson Jr.(Yvonne); six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; one sister, Caroline Brown; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one- son- in law, Oscar Boneparte; one sister- in- law, Teresa Howell and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mr. Woodson can be viewed Tuesday from 10AM to 8PM. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 1PM at Quioccasin Baptist Church, 9011 Quioccasin Road where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Theodore Brown(pastor) off. Interment Quioccasin Church Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Wednesday.
